Having been on the other side of misleading labels ourselves, Eco Pea Co. prioritizes transparency when it comes to our products. We’re parents before anything else.
In order to communicate what our products are made of in a straightforward and easy to understand way, we do the research to ensure our products are both safe and effective, for not only our family but for yours, too.
This research includes third-party testing. Our diapers have been third-party tested for Formaldehyde, Lead (US California Prop 65), Skin Reaction, Sensitivity, Dermal Irritation and Aerobic Biodegradation.
Furthering our transparency efforts, we like to break down each ingredient we use in all of our products so that we can explain where the ingredient is used in the product, the purpose of the ingredient, and its environmental footprint. For example, the bamboo pulp we use is totally chlorine free (TCF). This pulp is sustainably harvested - no trees cut down - and is biodegradable. The sodium polyacrylate, used in the inner core of our diapers, acts as a fertilizer as it degrades. The biobased film on our diapers’ back sheets prevents leaks and is partially biodegradable.
As stated in our Values: At Eco Pea Co., we are parents first. We value integrity, honesty and transparency when it comes to the products we bring into our home, and we know you do too. Unfortunately, that has not always been the norm in the diaper industry, which is why we are committed to being as open as possible about our 'why', and keeping focused on bringing the best, most mindful and most effective products to market. We believe all businesses have a duty to support and give back to our Mother Earth, which is why we are a proud partner of 1% For The Planet, and why we have worked so hard to make our shipping process carbon neutral.
It is important that not only are our products mindfully made but mindfully presented to our customers as well, and we are proud (and grateful) to say our customers have taken notice!
