Diaper parties are gatherings of friends and families who would like to celebrate their loved ones’ new addition. Similar to baby showers, there are usually games to play and snacks to eat, but the main difference is instead of a varied gift registry to choose from, guests are asked to bring diapers.

How many diapers are needed

Babies go through a lot of diapers. On average, a baby uses around 3000 diapers a year. In their first month, a baby will use eight to 12 diapers a day in their first month. What to look for in a diaper

In addition to a diaper that is absorbent and offers leak protection, look for a diaper that suits a baby’s sensitive skin. Look for diapers that are fragrance free, hypoallergenic, and dermatologist approved. Another feature to consider: A mindfully made, environmentally sustainable diaper is one with biodegradable ingredients, to prevent sitting in a landfill for hundreds of years.
